On Saturday 12th September 2009 Dukes barn are arranging a Sponsored Abseil off Millers Dale bridge.




If you would like to take part you can
download an application form which asks for your personal details including medical information and agreement to donate a minimum of £25 towards the event. It is essential that this is filled in and returned as soon as possible, for you to be able to take part in the abseil. 

You can also download a sponsorship pack  Please point out to your sponsors that if they pay tax we can claim an extra 25p in every pound from the Inland Revenue, all we need is for them to tick the Gift Aid box and complete their address and postcode.   There are also a few fundraising tips to ensure that you can do your very best for such a worthy cause.

Dukes Barn is a small charity set in Beeley on the Chatsworth Estate which provides a safe and adventurous environment for both disabled and able bodied people to experience exciting activities such as canoeing and climbing, to learn new skills; to meet personal challenges; to develop an awareness of the needs of others and gain a wider appreciation of the natural environment. 

Once we have received you application form we will write to you nearer the date with details of registration times but should you in the meantime have any queries, need more sponsor forms or would like information sent out to colleagues, family or friends please do not hesitate to contact us.
